Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub (American actress actor, comedian, activist) is a comedian. She was born in the Soviet Union to Jewish immigrants and started her career shortly after her move from Israel to the United States as a child actress. The appearances she made as Lily Adams in AT&T TV commercials from 2013 to 2016 - and since 2020 - has made her famous. In addition to commercial appearances, she was an actor in the series on the Yahoo! Screen science fiction comedy Other Space (2015). She also played a recurring role as a character in the NBC drama This Is Us (2016)-2017. Vayntrub was initially chosen to play the character Squirrel Girls in Marvel Rising's unaired pilot for New Warriors in 2018, has been voiced that role since. Vayntrub, an Jewish person, was born in Tashkent (Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic), USSR. Her parents, who were both two years old, immigrated to America as refugees from antisemitism. They settled in West Hollywood. Due to her family's financial problems and her own financial struggles, she began acting in Mattel Barbie commercials as a five-year-old. Vayntrub briefly was a student at Beverly Hills High School. But she dropped out of school following her sophomore year. She was able to get an GED and then was able to earn an undergraduate degree in Arts (Communication) from University of California San Diego. She was a member of the Upright Citizens Brigade, and learned improv comedy.
