 Jimmy Donaldson, also known as MrBeast (born May 7, 1998) is an American YouTube star and businessman. He is known for inventing YouTube videos that feature extravagant stunts. His main YouTube channel, "MrBeast", is the fifth-most-subscribed on the platform. Donaldson began posting videos to YouTube in 2012, at the age of 13, under the name "MrBeast6000" His early content ranged from Let's Plays to "videos which estimated the wealth of other YouTubers." The YouTuber became a viral hit in 2017 thanks to his "Counting to 100,000" video, which received thousands of hits in a few days. After his channel exploded, Donaldson hired several of his former classmates to run the growing business. MrBeast is Donaldson's primary YouTube channel, with more than 100 million subscribers was founded in 2022.
