Jacques Bermon Webster II (born on April 30, 1991), better known by his stage name Travis Scott (formerly stylized as Travi$ Scott) is an American artist, rapper and songwriter as well as record producer. The stage name is the name of a favorite uncle with the first name and first name (of Kid Cudi), of his main inspiration Travis Scott. Scott signed his first major label agreement with Epic Records in 2012, as well as a publishing contract with Kanye West's GOOD Music. Scott signed a joint-recording contract with Epic and T.I. The's Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's first full length project, Owl Pharaoh (mixtape) self-released in 2013. The mixtape was later followed by Days Before Rodeo in 2014. Rodeo (2015) was his first album of studio work. It featured the hit track "Antidote". The second album, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) achieved the first Billboard 200 top 100 album. Scott came out with a joint album titled Huncho Jack Huncho that was released under the name Huncho Jack. His third studio album Astroworld was also received acclaim by critics. The album also produced his debut Billboard Hot 100 number 1 single, "Sicko Mode" featuring Drake. Scott's Cactus Jack Records album JackBoys debuted on the Billboard 200 in late 2019. His single, "Franchise", featuring Young Thug (featuring M.I.A. ), was released. in the year 2020, Scott became the first artist on the Hot 100 to have three songs debut at number one within less than a year.
